It takes a lot of dedicated people to keep Capital Manor the happy, thriving place it is. Fortunately, we have these people! Residents and staff quickly come to see each other as family – which is why so many of our staff have been working here for more than 10, 20 and 30 years.
Here is some background on our leadership team.
David Lewis, Executive Director
Providing a quality life for seniors is David’s passion. He’s been a leader in the senior living industry for more than 20 years, and is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator and certified as an ALF/RCF Administrator. He loves Oregon’s lifestyle, and when not at Capital Manor, you can find him hiking, biking, cooking healthy gourmet food and studying history.
Nancy Dunton, Ph.D., R.D., Director of Dining & Culinary Services
Nancy has combined her training as a dietician, her Ph.D. in nutrition and food management, and her experience as a cook to make sure that residents get nutritious and delicious food. She loves gardening, biking, dogs and researching recipes.
Cleve Knabe, Director of Facility Services
Growing up, Cleve wanted to become a farmer. We’re very glad he didn’t, because we love what he does for Capital Manor. He makes sure that everything around here works well and runs smoothly. He and his wife have hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon four times.
Deirdre Miller, Director of Financial Services
Deirdre brings an extensive background in senior living to Capital Manor, with more than 16 years in the industry. When Deirdre isn’t crunching numbers in the finance office, you’ll find her cooking, one of her favorite things to do.
Patty Kidd, Assistant Administrator of Resident Health Services
Patty has worked in senior living since she was 15 and in a variety of positions at Capital Manor since she joined the team in 2000. She’s been a caregiver, worked in activities, and was Director of Environmental Services before taking on her current role. In her spare time, Patty loves spending time with her family.
Mark Fineran, Director of Human Resources
Mark has been in human resource management for over 30 years, and came to Capital Manor in 2012. He brings a special appreciation for teamwork – he’s in the South Salem High School Athletic Hall of Fame as part of the 1971 state championship football team. He loves golf, skiing, salmon fishing and duck hunting.
Mary Pruitt, Director of Administrative Services
Mary spent 23 years in the insurance industry before earning a degree in management and communication. She’s been with Capital Manor since 2004. When Mary’s not busy in the office, she’s spending time with her family and her two Pomeranian dogs.
Shelby Prichard, Director of Community Life & Wellness
After studying exercise science and gerontology, Shelby realized that working in senior living was perfect for her. She’s been with Capital Manor since 2005. Outside of work, Shelby spends her time with her family. She loves her home and yard, finding great joy in caring for both.
Nikki Lacy, Director of Marketing
Nikki joined the Capital Manor team in 2017, equipped with a strong sales and teaching background. Her most recent experience was at Hillside in McMinnville, OR, a Life Plan Community where she served both in community relations and as the director of sales and marketing.
